Wow. Just, wow.
Tonight Steve Jobs got on stage and, among many other nice things, announced the new Macbook Air range for 2010. I was going "Nice, nice..." while he was going down the spec list, then I went "WHOA HOLY SH!T!!!" when he announced the price point: $999 for the base model which has an 11.6" screen and weighs in at -literally- one kilogram.
Yeah. The next business laptop I'm getting? It's -that- one. If I ever need on-the-road virtualization I'll just run the VMs at home and access them through remote desktop.
EDIT:
Ah! And here is the iFixit tear-down of the new MBA.

Which link? Both links in the post work perfectly on my computer.
With regards to the hard drive size, I agree that 64 GB is not very much. Though admittedly, since this is an ULPC in my case I would use it only for mobile work and thus would not carry any movies or music on it. All of my photographs also get archived on the NAS, so they're not on it either.
Getting a larger SSD in it isn't -that- expensive either. Upping it to 128 in the 11.6" model sets you back 150 euros extra in the NL store. Also, upping it to 4GB of RAM is an additional 90 euros, if you'd need it.

Right now, I'd pay roughly 1500 euros for the 11.6", with 128 GB SSD, 4GB RAM, VGA dongle and three years "no questions asked" warranty plan. Take the warranty out and you're down to 1250.
But honestly, on my current laptop most of my hard drive space is consumed by two things:
1. Working copy of my complete website.
2. Virtual machines for Parallels and VirtualBox.
My own documents and such don't even exceed 30GB.

Somehow, I'm getting http://www.kilala.nl/%22http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/MacBook-Air-Model-A1370-Teardown/3745/1%22 under the last link. The first one has a similar problem.
I'm using my netbook as a photo-backup on holidays and an occasional movie.
While that would fit on a 64GB drive, I don't mind the 320GB I ave now. :)

Ah yes! I see it in Firefox! Safari doesn't show it, but FF does. *ponders* Now that is remarkable. I think this is down to the new editor I'm using in my CMS. I'll need to tweak the code a little.
Thanks for pointing it out Kaijuu!

Weird, checking the HTML in the CMS editor shows that it's perfectly fine. One of the links is listed as:
<a title="the new Macbook Air" href="http://www.apple.com/nl/macbookair/">the new Macbook Air</a>
So that's fine. Now let's check the source in the browser...
<a title="the new Macbook Air" href="http://www.apple.com/nl/macbookair/">the new Macbook Air</a>
Right. That's the problem. My "MakeSafe()" function, which strips the quotes away. Dammit. I thought that wasn't a problem until you pointed it out. I'll have another go at it.

Yup, fixed it. Instead of replacing " with " and such, I now replace it with ".
Now I just need to repush the blog posts I've edited with the CMS.
All content, with exception of "borrowed" blogpost images, or unless otherwise indicated, is copyright of Tess Sluijter. The character Kilala the cat-demon is copyright of Rumiko Takahashi and used here without permission.

It's nice and flat, but still...
Since you can't replace _anything_ on this thing, you'll have to pony up some extra dough to get the maximum out of it. A 64GB SSD doesn't hold very much in this day and age and I'm guessing a larger one as an upgrade will set you back another 500.
Your link does not work, by the way; you forgot to put http:// in front. :)
