I hate the side effects that Blackie's health issues are causing for me. The idea that we'll soon be losing her has seemingly turned me a bit manic.
I'll go from happy and carefree, to mopey and uncaring, to angry and hateful. Unfortunately the latter usually occurs at home when I'm tired and worn out after my workday. This means that Mar and Dana get the full brunt of my crap, because frankly that's what it is. I don't like being a tool to them, far from it. And I'd much rather be it to someone else, or of course rather not at all.
So, for up til now and for the near future, to everyone involved: I'm sorry for being a d*ck. It'll take some time to blow over.

Stop apologizing dude :). You will be losing a loved pet. I think people around you would be surprised if you weren't affected. Take time to feel it all.
