I know I've said this before.. On multiple occasions... And I haven't done anything with it to date... But I really need to do an overhaul of this site :3 I'm not that happy with the graphic at the top and I'd love to lose the frameset (to replace it with CSS). Ah well, maybe some day...

There's not much news worth reporting these days :) We're still quite busy in both the old and the new apartments. Aside from that I spend my days at the office and Marli has a week off from school. Any time I don't spend working, sleeping or on the house(s) is spent with my wonderful Christmas pressie: Mario Kart: DS! Yay! :3
I can't wait for us to get Wifi + Internet at the new house! Then I can get online with my NDS and play MK:DS with friends from Gathering of Tweakers and Ars Technica. Another game I'm looking forward to playing online a _lot_ is Animal Crossing:DS. All the stories on GoT and AT got me riled up!
Still on the topic of MK:DS I'd have to say that it's a really nice addition to the franchise! I find it to be a bit harder to beat than MK:DD (on the Cube), especialy since I'd like to get a minimum of a One Star Rank on each course.

Wow! The brunt of all of the heavy work for our new house is finally done! \o/
All of the walls and ceilings received a fresh coat of paint, most of the doors and window sills got a new coat of lacquer and a completely new floor is finally in place. Last weekend we dumped one and a half truck loads of garbage at the city dump and we moved almost exactly the same amount of stuff from the old house to the new one :) It's amazing how much crap two people can amass over three years.
Unfortunately most of our new furniture won't be arriving until February, so we'll spend two months living out of boxes :( But I'm very happy that we've now moved in.
I'll still be spending a lot of time fixing the new and old house, so updates to the website will be _very_ sparse for the time being.

Sorry for being absent so long, it's just that we've been so fscking busy with our new apartment that I haven't got time for anything else...
Basically things are looking pretty okay when it comes to redecorating the place. All the ceilings and walls received a fresh coat of paint and I'm almost done tearing out the old wooden floor. Come Sunday some relatives will be dropping by to put in the new floor, which hopefully will go without a hitch.
Checking the planning I set out a few weeks back, it seems like the whole project is still on target when it comes to our mile stones and the delivery dates. Yes, I actually am that anal! I decided to tackle our move to the new house like any other project at work :D On my Mac there's this wonderfully huge Gantt chart which outlines all of the tasks which lay ahead and when we should have them done. Unfortunately I cannot get the colours to work in the export, so you'll have to do with the B/W image. This unfortunately also doesn't show you how far we're done with each task :) Just trust me when I say we're on target :3
