Our wedding day was magical

That's it: we're hitched.

On monday the 24th of May, 2004, it was finally going to happen: Marli and I were going to get married!! We had already been making preparations for the full year prior to the wedding, so we were quite sure nothing was going to get messed up. Of course, we both were still a bit edgy and nervous about the Big Day (although Marli got nervous a week before the wedding, whilst I started sweating half an hour in advance).

All in all it was a magical day! Not a single thing went afoul, partially due to the fact that we were being helped by a bunch of wonderful people (Thanks guys!). We got up around ten in the morning, spent some time just lounging and waking up. Around twelve parts of our families and some friends arrived at our place, to help out with various odd ends. We left for city hall around two-thirty and finally tied the knot at three-thirty. Afterwards we had dinner with our closest relatives and we topped the night off with a getogether with friends, family and colleagues (76 people alltogether).

This whole mini-writeup may seem to downplay things a bit, but rest assured that this was one of the best days in our lives! Everyone had worked very hard to make this a beautiful day and it is not something we will likely forget!
