As you can see I've gone and changed the whole look and layout of my website! I really thought the site needed an overhaul, because the layout was buggy (Darn you CSS! Why are you so mean?!) and because my webspace had gotten clogged up with stuff... let's call it Internet Dust Bunnies, or something... Scary thought, never mind that -_-'
So I went ahead and made copies of all of the stuff I had up in my webspace, trashed all of the kruft in between the good things and sorted everything into seperate directories per topic (which you'll notice in the URL bar in your browser when you're browsing this site). I decided to give all of the pages a much cleaner look, which is actualy The One Look (TM) that I'd been trying to reach ever since I started this site.
I also redid all of the logo's for the chapters. When I first did the original ones I really liked them, but it's been a while now and my tastes and drawing techniques have changed since then. For the better I like to think ^_^;
Just one or two last things :) As you can see I took out two of the old sections ("The SCA" and "Misc. Art") since those were topics that didn't hold any more interest to me. I replaced them with one of my favourite subject, being "Retro Video Games"! Be sure to keep an eye out for updates in that section! Also, I got round to verifying the new layout using four different browsers (IE5, Mozilla 5.0/0.9.8, Opera 6.0b1 and Konqueror 3.0.0) and I found out that there's a couple of tiny bugs hiding out there. For instance, Opera will not (however I try to coerce her) stop showing borders around the frames, Konqueror has problems with the nested menus in the "Anime/Manga" section and IE5 decides that I really do not need any space between the frame's border and the text inside it. :/ Oh well, at least it's a big load less buggy than the previous version was :P

As you can imagine things may have changed a bit during the past couple of months since this profile was last updated :)
Marlijne got accepted for a job doing at-home-care for physically disabled people over here in Nieuwegein. The project she's on has about fourteen houses scattered through a neighbourhood, where clients live completely self sufficiently. It's only at times like going to the bathroom, showering, getting in and out of bed etc. that Marli and her colleagues get called in by their clients. So far Marli really seems to enjoy her job as most of it is really interesting and educational to her.
