Drawing has always been a creative outlet for my emotions and aggrevations. When I was still in high school I was already toying with the idea of drawing comics, and the idea remained through my years in college. Sometimes I'd try my hand and this-and-that, but nothing really came out of it. The biggest stumbling block was always the fact that I couldn't think up a decent story.
But then I got interested in manga and anime (resp. Japanese comics and animation) and attempted to draw like their artists. It soon turned out that I wasn't really great at realistic manga, but the fun loving SD style (Super Deformed) seemed to go fairly well. Writing stories wasn't that much of a problem either, since I decided to start looking at my own life for inspiration.
All of the diary comics in the left menu were, based on events from my life. A lot of the jokes will seems only faintly humouristic to most of you since they're inside jokes ^_^; The other comics from the menu were attempts of applying my SD characters to fiction, with some attempts more succesfull than other. The newest addition to the bunch being "Sysadmin life", which is about my life as a UNIX system admin.
